What I do in Montessori:

Vice-Principal Early Elementary of Little Explorers Montessori Plus School, Accra, Ghana.

What Montessori means to me:

Montessori is respecting the choices children make and facilitating these choices in a highly conducive environment. This enables independence from a very young age and moulds children into decisive adults.

What I love most about what I do:

The interactions with children is why I am a teacher. The best part about teaching is facilitating a child’s growth through intellectual, social and emotional interactions. Through all the laughter and hugs, I get to be a learner with them. Children have always and will always brighten my day. That’s how I know this I what I am meant to do.

Three words that describe me:

Hardworking, sincere and optimistic!

Favorite Quote from Maria Montessori:

“It is surprising to notice that even from the earliest age, man finds the greatest satisfaction in feeling independent. The exalting feeling of being sufficient to oneself comes as a revelation.”
